Overview

 

Shields Environmental are looking for a highly motivated sales professional to work as part of the EMEA sales team.

The applicant should already have an established record of global sales contacts and be ready to rapidly generate significant sales and purchasing opportunities for all types of telecommunication infrastructure, from manufacturers such as Ericsson, Siemens, Alcatel, Nokia, Nortel and Cisco.

Responsibilities   

 

  • Perform sales in several geographic regions, as allocated by the EMEA Sales Director
  • Achieve assigned sales targets
  • Respond rapidly to customer enquiries
  • Provide accurate forecasting for short and medium term opportunities
  • Attend customer meetings
  • Produce detailed equipment specifications to aid marketing
  • Maintain an accurate database of customer contacts and equipment prices
Skills Required

 

  • Experience within a telecoms related industry is required, preferably with a good working knowledge of how modern fixed and mobile telecom networks operate.
  • The candidate must be an excellent communicator with good written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate in several languages is preferable.
  • Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer skills are essential.
  • Above all, a desire to succeed!!
