Shields Environmental becomes an approved Producer Compliance Scheme (PCS) for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

The EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is one of a series of 'producer responsibility’ Directives that makes EU producers of new equipment pay for the recycling and/or safe treatment and disposal of the products they put on the market when they eventually come to be disposed of.

Shields Environmental has 27 years of experience in asset management within the telecoms and IT industry. Our scheme specialises in these areas enabling us to offer returns on redundant equipment either by re-use or through recycling.

To complement this service we offer de-installation and transport services enabling us to provide customers with a complete life cycle asset management service.
