Daniel Jones
Group Finance Director
Daniel was on assignment at Shields Environmental when his talent was spotted by Gordon Shields, who commented that Daniel was "one of the most talented young Finance people I have seen". He joined in 2005 after spending 4 years at Kingston Smith where he worked with many corporate clients, focused mainly on audit. After joining Shields as Financial accountant he produced excellent results streamlining the financial systems of the company and also gained experience in Europe and the USA. As a result of his progress and support to the management team he was appointed Group Finance Director in 2006. Daniel is a qualified accountant (ACA), qualifying at the age of 22. In his spare time Daniel enjoys playing football, cycling and studying business opportunities.
