| Delbay Telequip renamed Shields Environmental Inc. embracing global expansion plans of parent company

2nd December 2002: London, England/Brockville, Canada. Supporting the global expansion plans of Shields Environmental Group, Canadian subsidiary Delbay Telequip has been renamed Shields Environmental Inc. Shields purchased Delbay Telequip in 2001 as part of its expansion strategy to deliver world-class environmental asset management solutions for the telecoms sector globally.
The Canadian operation will continue to focus on delivering asset management solutions to some of the largest fixed and wireless network operators in North America, and will also expand to new business areas for which Shields Environmental has market leadership.
“The integration of Delbay Telequip into the Shields group of companies will enable us to deliver our clients with an expanded portfolio of services,” said Peter de Luis, President of Shields Environmental Inc. “However, continuity is key in any change, and we will continue to support our customers with the highest level of customer service,” continued de Luis.
