Equipment is tested in a simulated live traffic environment to assure that it meets the demands of our customers. Repair and test procedures, along with repair and test results, are maintained in our extensive database, and can be easily referenced from the technicians work station. Shields also maintain an extensive network of audited repair partners to cover repair of parts from OEM’s that Shields does not currently manage ‘in-house’.

With the technical capabilities and the inventory available to us, Shields offer complete Multi-Vendor Spare Parts Management programmes, both for wireline and wireless product portfolio’s. These services, combined with innovative replacement (re-use through redeployment), help our customers to reduce the total cost of ownership on mature technology networks. With a Next Day Delivery of critical Spare Parts, Shields can help eliminate CAPEX and minimize OPEX related to Spare Parts Inventory. Based on a Service Level Agreement our customers have guaranteed availability of Spare Parts and maximize the In-Service Performance on their Networks.
