Warehouse

Shields provides strategically located company-owned warehousing in several global locations. All relevant sites are TL9000, ISO9001, and OHSAS18001 certified, meaning quality and safety are our highest priorities.

Employees are trained to the highest standards and all materials are handled in an ESD compliant manner. Materials are stored in a temperature-controlled environment wherever necessary, reducing humidity and drastically limiting potential damage to stock.

From SFP’s to Wireless Cabinets, we can manage your smallest parts to larger outdoor equipment. All facilities are securely monitored 24/7 365 days a year. Our warehouses are perfect for managed inventory or forward stocking, as well as any consignment needs.

Logistics

Shields provides both forward and reverse logistics services. We have our own fleet of vehicle as well as work with logistics partners from local couriers to ocean container services. When logistics services cannot be provided in-house, we work with our partners to find the best solution for your logistics requirements. We provide the highest quality shipping services at competitive rates because we work with the most trusted names in the industry, Shields will also work with you to provide the right packaging for your important shipment.

All inventory is shipped in ESD compliant packing and overpacked to ensure safety and security of transport throughout the supply chain. If you have a unique need our team will work with you to find a solution that meets your needs – and because our relevant sites are R2 certified, we use only the safest and most reputable carriers in the industry.

Since forming over 40 years ago Shields has been a true pioneer in environmental excellence. We’ve developed and continue to optimize our proprietary software in order to provide zero-landfill solutions whenever possible and report on environmental balance sheets that prove minimum impact on the environment.

We carry many certifications including R2 and Weeelabex. Shields has always followed a Reuse 1st policy. The best way to maximize your return and avoid disposal is to resell your valuable assets. Shields can provide deinstallation and reverse logistics services back to our facilities where your equipment will be scanned and triaged through our system. Shields has been using proprietary software for over 40 years to guide smart data-driven decisions ensuring your decommissioned assets find the best possible path for end of life equipment.
